Cultural heritage contains countless stories, but how can we archive and share these stories in an innovative and creative way? What methods can we consider to support communities in discovering and telling stories about their heritage – heritage that is not a part of the past but a part of present life? We respectfully invite scholars, administrators, researchers, experts, lecturers, students, journalists and members of interested communities to register to attend the Heritage Storytelling Webinar.

Part 1: Heritage & Creativity Storytelling

– Expert Dr. Le Thi Minh Ly, Member of the National Cultural Heritage Council, shares about how to tell heritage stories in an innovative and creative way.

– Share activities around heritage storytelling

Part 2: Digital Heritage Collection

– Introduce the Digital Heritage Collection as an example of this theme;

– Instructions for sharing documents on online platforms;

– Talk with community members about collecting and sharing valuable materials about community cultural heritage.

The webinar is an activity of the Connecting Heritage Digital Collection, an online platform in the heritage sector that promotes learning, sharing and celebrating the cultural heritage values of different communities across Vietnam. The main objectives of the collection are to (1) Present and preserve the cultural heritage of communities, especially those that are little known and at risk of disappearing (2) Connect researchers, experts in the field of cultural heritage and heritage practicing communities.
